Mrs. Serafino, Mrs. Gildersleeve, Mrs. Whitman, and Mrs. Silva are rock star educators! Not only did they create a makerspace for their second graders, they let innovation and creativity rule as students designed their own inventions!! And if that wasn't enough, they helped their second graders write and produce commercials selling the products the students invented. We are SO fortunate to have these amazing teachers at Center! Osmo Time in Second Grade!
Students discovered the world of Osmo to practice addition and subtraction. Osmo allows students to use hands-on tiles to interact with the digital world on their iPads. Every single student was engaged for 40 minutes and not wanting to stop at the end of class. That's math success!
