First Grade Fall!

First graders begin studying the seasons as part of their Foss science Air and Weather unit! As a culminating project, students created fall collages using the PicCollage kids app on the iPads.
Even though it doesn't feel like fall right now, it's coming our way!

Center School Sightings! Episode One!

Welcome to another season of our school newscast, Center School Sightings (CSS)!  We're excited about bringing you all of the events and excitement for learning from our school. This newscast is produced entirely by our fifth graders!  They are the videographers, reporters, anchors and editors.  It is amazing to see the news through their eyes.

Our first episode takes you to our beginning of the year all
school assembly.  A special thank you to Evie, Nick, Sophia and Alex for kicking off the newscast in style!

Welcome to the Center Cafe!

The technology integration room has changed!  Thanks to a grant from LEEF, we've switched to flexible seating.  Every student is a leader in a class that supports small-group work, collaboration, and experimentation. This setting is conducive to just that!
First graders were the first to test it out - reports were glowing!
