Center School Sightings - Episode 6

The second grade Thanksgiving Feast was an amazing event!  The students work very hard making all of the decorations, learning along the way, and they recorded a performance of the first Thanksgiving.
Friends and family enjoyed the event, and CSS was there to take in the action!  Special thanks to our reporter, Emma and our videographer, Patrick!  Way to go!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone from your friends at Center School!

Tour of the United States Landmarks- Brought to You by Grade Two!

Second grade has been busy in traveling the country virtually to learn about our US landmarks.  Today they take YOU with them on a tour of each one.  They worked hard on speaking clearly and using expression.  They did such a great job, you may see them on the next travel show!

First Graders Teach Us about Seasons!

Our phenomenal first graders spent several weeks learning about each season through interactive technology sites, each others' experiences and our friend, BrainPop Jr.!

In our culminating science project, students thought about all they had learned and are now sharing it with you!

Fifth Interview Explorers of the New World

Our fifth graders used their skills of script writing, creativity, acting, conducting an interview and film production to independently create these amazing interviews with explorers of the new world.  It was just so cool to watch them in action!

Students worked collaboratively to write scripts, choose backgrounds for their film, and film each other on the green screen.

Get ready to meet the explorers!
