Second Grade Landmark Movies!

Second grade has been busy traveling the country through our LEEF Virtual Reality goggles to learn about the U.S. landmarks!  Then they researched each landmark, made creative and clever Google slideshows (see next post) and from that created a script!
Today they take YOU with them on a tour of each one.  They worked hard on speaking clearly and using expression.  The second graders did such a great job, you just may see them on the next travel show!  Enjoy!

Second Graders and Google Slideshows- Prepare to be Amazed!

Second graders created the most phenomenal Google slideshows in their study of United States Landmarks.  After learning about each landmark, they chose a fact to share and an image, then really made their slides snazzy!  Here are a few examples, enjoy! Some students were so excited, they created their own slideshows on a topic of their choice!

We had so much fun with this project - the fifth graders brought their "A" game for sure!  The students are learning a lot of valuable tools on their Chromebooks with these projects as well:  how to download and upload images, take screenshots, take photos, use split screen, bookmarks, and bookmark folders plus how to mark assignments as done and turn in assignments in Google Classroom.

Enjoy these awesome Memes! ~Click to enlarge~
