The fifth graders learned about the colonies in social studies during technology! First, they studied the New England, Middle and Southern colonies by listening to a Rap song and completing a Digital Escape Room. Then they used their notes to create a plan for their advertisement. The fifth graders were challenged to persuade people to move to their colonies! The advertisements included a catchy slogan, and information on religion, climate, economy, geography, and education.
