First Grade Water Cycle!
Follow the steps of the water cycle with the first graders as they use green screen technology to make it come alive. What an excellent job they did learning their lines, reciting the lines together, and showing enthusiasm in their voices! Be on the lookout for a feature story of this project on CSS.

4th Grade Journalists!
Choosing a topic of interest, the fourth graders became journalists by writing their own feature articles! Magazine editors Mrs. McLean, Mrs. McColgan and Ms. Hanson taught their students the tools to create writing that would appeal to their audience - YOU!
Enjoy these digital magazines written by the fourth grade... don't be surprised if you see one on a newsstand near you!
Special thanks to Mrs. Rafferty for her help on this wonderful project.

Animals, Animals, Animals - 3rd Grade Web Designers!
The third graders did a fantastic job designing websites about invertebrates and vertebrates. They followed complex directions, helped each other, uploaded videos and used their creativity as you will see! Please click to view!
The really cool part is the second grade will be using these websites for research as part of their animal unit. Thank you to the third grade for helping students to learn!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
After Mrs. Bone's presentation, the fifth grade took to their iPads to create a visual slideshow demonstrating their knowledge. The iPad app they used is called Haiku Deck - way to go fifth graders! Let's all remember everything can be reused, reduced and/or recycled!
