Selfies with a Purpose!

First graders are learning about adjectives (can you believe it!).  After reviewing nouns and verbs we discussed what these fun descriptive words mean.   Using the Skitch app, students took selfies and wrote three adjectives about themselves either from a list we brainstormed or from their own ideas.

Amazing as usual first grade!!  The students will apply this lesson to create descriptive characters in their current writing.
