Finches Have Landed at Center!

No, not the bird, the robot!! The Finch is a robot that is designed to support an engaging introduction to the art of programming.  As of now, students in the fourth and fifth grades are learning coding using code.org,  and then programming the Finch Robot using Scratch, and Snap.
Learning the fundamentals of coding gives the students skills that will serve them well as they continue through school and beyond: logical thinking, problem solving, perseverance, collaboration, creativity and communication.
Thank you to Silvia Scott and Sue Dufraine at Blueberry and Wolf Swamp for the leading the way with coding!
