Mrs. Drysdale!

The students love Mrs. Drysdale, so it was no surprise that two fifth graders - Maddie B. and Zac asked if they could do a CSS segment on her.  They planned, wrote the script, asked Ryan J to be the videographer, and did a beautiful tribute to their music teacher who will be leaving soon to have a baby!   Great job Maddie B. and Zac and Best Wishes to Mrs. Drysdale!

First Grade Researchers!

First graders in Mrs. Weiner's class are using technology to research animals!  First they learned how to take notes, then they went to Pebble Go to research their animal, and finally they wrote down interesting facts.  They will use the notes for their informational non-fiction writing.

First graders researching and taking notes...AMAZING!!!

2nd Grade Weather Wordles!

As part of the weather unit in second grade, students wrote lists of many, many, many weather words!  We combined the words to make these cool Wordles.  If you'd like to make one, go to http://www.wordle.net.  Any second grader can help you make a creative word cloud!

Lily T., Jocelyn and Aidan ROCK St. Patrick's Day!

Everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's Day!!  Luckily for the CSS viewing audience, we had three fifth graders who took it upon themselves to create and produce two segments covering Mrs. Palazzi's kindergarteners and their St. Patrick's Day fun!

Aidan came up with the idea to cover the Leprechaun's visit to the kindergarteners and proceeded to film, edit, and produce completely on his own,

Jocelyn and Lily T. got the idea to cover the bond between kindergarteners and their fifth grade buddies,  then filmed, reported and produced.

I'm so impressed with these fifth graders and their skills, initiative and work ethic - way to go!!!

Enjoy the fantastic happenings in Mrs. Palazzi's Class!!  Erin Go Braugh!
