Center School Sightings - Episode 21

The third grade teachers led an amazing collaborative project with their students that included parents and technology integration.  Students read biographies of their choice, completed information about their selected person, created a Google slideshow, and presented to family and friends!  Impressive third graders!!   Kudos to Mrs. Craft, Mrs. Iancu and Ms. Nichols for their hard work on this special project!

Center School Sightings - Episode 20

Meeting for a Peacebuilders project, the third and first graders spend time together discussing "How to Be a Peacemaker."  They also create "Peacebuilder Puppets" that demonstrate their learning. Incredible job students and teachers!

Kindergarten Orientation!

Today is the day we welcome our new kindergarten students to Center! Six members of our Center School Sightings team constructed a "Day in the Life" episode to show exactly what it's like to be a kindergartener at our school!  Excellent work CSS and special thank you to Mrs. Palazzi, Mrs. Hinkamper and Mrs. Brydges!!

5th Grade Take Climate and Weather to a New Level!

Fifth graders completed amazing Adobe Spark Pages on climate and weather of each U.S. region, in collaboration with science teachers, Ms. Manna and Ms. Anderson.  The students studied the differences between the two terms, learned the software, and worked together in teams to create these beautiful displays of their research.  Impressive fifth graders!

Center School Sightings - Episode 18

Mrs. Brydges's Kindergarten play is an annual tradition at Center School.  Her students are the screenwriters, set designers, actors, and actresses.  

Another job well done by the super creative Mrs. Brydges and Mrs. Quirk and congratulations to the talented kindergarteners.

First Graders Teach the Water Cycle!

First graders were so excited to be on the green screen!  Practicing their scripts and working on saying their lines together, they did a fabulous job showcasing the water cycle that they are learning in science class.  Special thanks to their first grade teachers:  Mrs. Campos, Mrs. Salvatore, Mrs. Silva, and Mrs. Kadis.
