Listen to the Third Graders!

QR codes are everywhere!  The third graders took them up a notch, by attaching audio to the codes.  Using a free QR Scanner or QR Reader App available on any phone, Kindle Fire, Nook or iPad, you can hear the third graders tell you one very interesting fact about themselves...  Excellent job third grade!

Longmeadow Summer Enrichment!

Lights, Camera, Action!  Fifteen students became filmmakers this week by learning about green screen technology, special effects in iMovie, making movie trailers, and how to film and edit their productions.  They all did an outstanding job and I am so proud of each student!

Mrs. Giuggio Goes to School!

The Longmeadow Summer Enrichment Program offered a Digital Productions class, taught by Longmeadow alum, Phil Steiger.  Mrs. Dufraine and I took the class, produced four different movies and learned so much to pass on to our students next school year!  Get ready Center School!

              This movie was made for a family whose dog, Piper, was our guest over the summer!

5th Grade Graduation... Through the Years!

Congratulations to our fifth graders!  We wish them nothing but the best as they move on to the next chapter in their lives.  We hope they come back and visit often!  

Kindergarten Memories!

Each kindergartener gave poignant answers when asked the question, "What was your favorite part of kindergarten this year?" There were many choices to narrow down to one!  Enjoy a look back on a special year.

CSS! Fifth Grade Make the News!!

Literally!  The fifth grade are using the skills they learned in green screen technology to create weekly school newscasts.  They are the reporters, the videographers, the writers, the anchors, and the editors.  It's truly amazing what they have done.  Check back each week to see their newscast, "Center School Sightings," and see what's going on in our school.  Thank you to one of our producers, Sue Dufraine, for her ingenious idea of a school-wide weekly newscast!!
