Fifth grade student, Perry, was live on the scene at our first annual TIES event. Perry was both a reporter and videographer! If that wasn't impressive enough, he downloaded, edited, and produced this segment for CSS completely on his own. I see a future in TV for Perry!

CSS... The last one from our fifth graders
Another exciting episode awaits! The fifth graders have worked so hard to learn the many parts of producing a regular newscast and have done a terrific job. I hope this is a start of a hobby or even a future in film production!
Much appreciation goes out to Mrs. Quinn, Mrs. O'Connor and Ms. Manna who made this extra curricular activity a possibility for their students. Each class had two turns producing CSS and I am so proud of all of them!
Enjoy! Please see our website for past episodes! Center School Sightings

technology enhances learning across curricula areas and across all grade
levels. Algebraic Art, QR Codes for Literacy Learning, Green Screen Studio projects, and Math with iPads are just a few samples
of the innovative and exciting presentations.
Visitors to the TIES will learn about the creative ways
that technology enriches learning and enjoy the opportunity to engage with
teachers and students as they share their projects. Visitors may bring their own devices for some
interactive fun! TIES will highlight a
sampling of projects from all schools in the district-kindergarten students
through Longmeadow High School students!
Participants are eager to share their technology talents and innovative learning
with members of the Longmeadow community and beyond.
